Dr.  Sun has several areas of specialty treatments including clinical cardiology, non-invasive cardiology (especially in echocardiography), and primary interventional cardiology.

Education:

Dr. Sun received his Bachelor Degree of Medicine from Tongji University Medical School in 1994, and was later awarded a Master Degree of Medicine in 2001 from Shanghai Second Medical University.  In 2007, he received his PhD from Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine.  Dr. Sun completed his residency at the Tonji Hospital of Tonji University in 1998.

Background:

Dr. Sun has over 23 years of clinical experience. Before joining Shanghai United Family Hospital, Dr. Sun served as a Cardiologist at Parkway Health China, and is also a founder and partner Cardiologist of Shanghai Puremed Health Partners. Previously, Dr. Sun served as assistant Professor (Cardiology), Dept. of Cardiology, Ruijin Hospital of Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine. Dr. Sun is accredited by the Mayo Clinic Cardiology Board Review in the United States and visiting scholarship in Prince of Wales Hospital of Chinese University of Hong Kong, China. He is a member of the Chinese Medical Association (Cardiology), the American Society of Echocardiography, and the European Society of Echocardiography. In addition to hisclinical work, Dr. Sun is published in pioneer medical journals, including Acta Cardiologica, Chinese Journal of Cardiology and the Journal of Shanghai Jiaotong University (Medical).
