Biography

Expertise:

Dr. Wu is a chief physician in pediatrics with 30 years of clinical experience in general pediatrics and pediatric cardiology. She specializes in congenital heart diseases, arrhythmias, Kawasaki disease, hypertension, myocarditis, and cardiomyopathy in children. Dr. Wu is particularly skilled in echocardiography, 24-hour Holter ECG, exercise stress testing, interventional treatment of congenital heart diseases, and radiofrequency ablation of arrhythmias.

Dr. Wu obtained her Medical Degree from Shanghai Medical University in 1994 and earned her PhD in Pediatrics from Fudan University in 2002. She received advanced clinical research and skills training at John Radcliffe Hospital of Oxford University in the UK from January 2004 to January 2005, and at the Children’s Hospital of the University of British Columbia in Canada from August 2008 to December 2008.

Experience:

Dr. Wu worked at the Children’s Hospital of Fudan University from July 1994 to September 2021, where she accumulated extensive clinical experience in general pediatrics and pediatric cardiology. She served as the deputy director of the Cardiology Department and the director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory. Dr. Wu is a renowned pediatric cardiologist in China. Since January 2022, she has been dedicated to healthy children care, general pediatrics, and pediatric cardiology at United Family Healthcare Shanghai Service Area.

Honors and Awards:

She participated in the clinical research project “Epidemiology, Clinical Treatment and Predictor of Kawasaki Disease Coronary Artery Lesions”, and won the “First Prize of Shanghai Medical Science and Technology Award” as one of main contributors.

Academic Achievement:

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Wu has published more than 50 academic articles as the first or corresponding author in medical journals such as “Pediatric Cardiology” and the “Chinese Journal of Pediatrics.” She has also co-authored more than 10 academic monographs, including “Pediatric Cardiology” and “Pediatric Echocardiography.”
