Dr. Zhou has several areas of specialty including orthodontic treatment for adult and adolescent malocclusion, early preventive orthodontic treatment for children’s malocclusion, and comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of periodontal disease.

Education Background:

Dr. Zhou received her medical Bachelor’s degree from College of Stomatology, School of Medicine, Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2008, and was later awarded a medical Master’s degree in 2010 from _ College of Stomatology, School of Medicine, Shanghai Jiao Tong University . Dr. Zhou completed HER resident training in stomatoly at Ninth People’s Hospital, College of Stomatology, School of Medicine, Shanghai Jiao Tong University in _2012, where SHE treated patients, and developed expertise in managing conditions ranging from dental decay and pulpitis to impacted teeth. Dr. Zhou completed her visiting scholar at Section of Periodontology, University Clinic of Dentistry, Medical University of Vienna in 2015, where she developed expertise in managing patients with periodontal disease and temporomandibular disorders. Dr. Zhou completed HER specialist training in periodontology at Ninth People’s Hospital, College of Stomatology, School of Medicine, Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2018, where SHE treated patients, and developed expertise in managing conditions ranging from gingivitis to periodontitis.

 Working Experience:

Dr. Zhou has over 10 years of clinical experience. Before joining United Family Healthcare Shanghai Service Area, Dr. Zhou served in Ninth People’s Hospital, College of Stomatology, School of Medicine, Shanghai Jiao Tong University as a specialist in orthodontic treatment for adult and adolescent malocclusion, early preventive orthodontic treatment for children’s malocclusion, and comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of periodontal disease. Dr. Zhou is board certified by the Orthodontic committee and Periodontal Committee of Chinese Stomatological Association  and is a member of Shanghai Stomatological Association. In addition to HER clinical work, Dr. Zhou is published in medical journals, including Journal of Shanghai Stomatology and Journal of Shanghai Jiao Tong University .
