Dr. Wang has dual qualifications as an ophthalmic practicing physician and a senior optometrist. She is dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of various eye diseases ranging from children to adults as well as the whole-cycle eye health management.

  • Diagnosis and treatment of refractive errors, strabismus and amblyopia.
  • Formulation and management of personalized myopia prevention and control plans.
  • Fitting of various contact lenses such as orthokeratology lenses and rigid gas permeable (RGP) lenses.
  • Diagnosis of visual function abnormalities and visual training.
  • Diagnosis and treatment of dry eye syndrome, eyelid and lacrimal duct diseases, corneal and conjunctival diseases, lens diseases, fundus diseases, etc.

Educational Background:

  • Graduated from Sun Yat-sen University in 2014 and obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Ophthalmology and Optometry Medicine.
  • Pursued a Master’s degree at Zhengzhou University in 2022.
  • Completed the standardized residency training at the Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center of Sun Yat-sen University, rotated and interned in various clinical departments, and mastered the diagnosis and treatment of various diseases proficiently.
  • A certified doctor for CRT (Corneal Refractive Therapy), Euclid and Alpha orthokeratology lenses. Also a member of the Asian Branch of the International Orthokeratology Council and a member of the American Optometric Association for Vision Development.

Working Experience:

Joined Shanghai United Family Healthcare in 2024. Previously, worked for many years at the Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center of Sun Yat-sen University, a top-tier tertiary women’s and children’s hospital in Shenzhen and high-end private hospitals in Shanghai.

Academic Achievements:

In addition to focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of clinical eye diseases, Doctor Wang has also published several academic papers in Chinese core journals and SCI.
