Conduct surgical treatments for various pediatric orthopedic conditions, including minimally invasive procedures for limb fractures, as well as corrective surgeries for torticollis, polydactyly/syndactyly, developmental dysplasia of the hip (DDH), scoliosis, bone tumors, sequelae of cerebral palsy, clubfoot, flatfoot, genu varum/valgum, and post-traumatic deformities.
Dr. Wang also performs minimally invasive NUSS correction for chest wall deformities (such as pectus excavatum and pectus carinatum).
In pediatric surgery, he performs operations for common conditions such as hernias, hydroceles, appendicitis, and phimosis.
Education Background:
Ph.D. candidate at Xi’an Jiaotong University, undertaken further training at Schneider Children’s Medical Center in Israel and Harvard Medical School in the United States.
Working Experience:
With over 20 years of experience at Shandong University Second Hospital—a National Health Commission-affiliated tertiary Grade A general hospital—he has accumulated a decade of medical management experience. Chief Physician, a distinguished expert, and a Master’s Supervisor at Shandong University. Pursued advanced studies at Beijing Children’s Hospital, Queen Mary Hospital, and Beijing Jishuitan Hospital.
Academic Achievement:
As the lead of a national key clinical specialty construction project, he has been awarded twice provincial third prizes for Scientific and Technological Progress. Editorial Board Member of the Chinese Journal of Pediatric Surgery. Principal Investigator for multiple national projects, including the NHC Precision Diagnosis and Treatment Program for Pediatric Cerebral Palsy. Published more than 30 papers in core journals, six of which are indexed in SCI.
