Wei QIAN

Dr. Qian is a specialist in treatment of Ear, Nose and Throat disorders. He is skilled in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases such as otorhinolaryngology and head and neck tumors, especially skilled in the diagnosis and surgery of sleep-related respiratory diseases and the use of positive pressure ventilator (CPAP) to treat various types of sleep apnea complex (SAHS).

Education:
Dr. Qian received his Bachelor of Medicine from Nanjing Medical College in 1983, and was later awarded the Master of Medicine and Doctor of Medical from Shanghai Medical University and Wuhan University, respectfully. Also, Dr. Qian was undertaken clinical fellowship training in Sunnybrook Health Science Centre, University of Toronto, Canada.

Background:
Dr. Qian has been over 40 years of clinical practice, as well as medical education and research experience. Before joining United Family Healthcare, Dr. Qian served in Jiangsu University Affiliated People’s Hospital and University of Toronto as an ENT specialist and clinical researcher for many years. Dr. Qian is a special recruited medical expert by Jiangsu provincial government, as well as the member of the standing committee of Jiangsu Academy of Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery, Deputy director of Sleep Medicine Committee of Jiangsu Physician Association, member of Chinese National Physician Association Sleep Medicine Committee, member of American Academy of Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery, and member of North American Skull Base Society. Dr Qian has conducted over 20 clinical research programs including the National Natural Science Fund and published over one hundred abstracts and manuscripts.
